Before making an application to the court in parenting cases, the court requires you to first attend Compulsory Family Dispute Resolution.

There are several forms of Family Dispute Resolution. The purpose of Family Dispute Resolution is to try and negotiate a solution between the parties.

Examples of Family Dispute Resolution include:

  1. Family counselling;
  2. Negotiation;
  3. Conciliation.
